‘Big Jim’ Shively started out (and still does) as a syndicated DJ for WQMR-LP and WROE-LP, doing 2 hour radio shows, but wanted a home station to play this kind of rare-track deep cut retro radio 24/7, and after a lot of hard work, launched WBJR on Live365 in December 2018!

Roger Ellington is a longtime friend of Big Jim, and longtime listener of both BIG JIM’S BIG JAMZ and WBJR. Without Roger, WBJR wouldn’t be as unique as it is today. He has an encyclopedic memory of pop culture and rare songs, and contributes daily to WBJR and is essential to its’ success!
